London’s most central venue hosts LBC debate
The LBC Leaders’ Debate saw Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg and UKIP Leader Nigel Farage take part in a heated hour long debate about whether Britain should be in or out of the EU. The debate was hosted by Nick Ferrari in front of a live audience at London’s most central venue: 8 Northumberland Avenue.

The Old Billiard Room was used for the live debate followed by interviews taking place in the Ballroom, described by English Heritage as ‘the grandest example of a Victorian ballroom in existence’.
8 Northumberland Avenue operates at the forefront of technological advancements: On this occasion, the 100MB fibre optic line was in use, providing all broadcasters (including Sky, ITV and LBC) secure lines enabling them to delivered a smooth live broadcast.
